Amaras Ancestral Arroqueño is a rare ancestral mezcal made from wild Arroqueño agave — produced by the most traditional method of all and bottled at 86 proof.
Part of Amaras's Reserva Especial range, this ancestral mezcal is made from Arroqueño, a large wild agave that takes many years to mature. “Ancestral” denotes the oldest, most labor-intensive production method — clay-pot distillation over open fire. The result is a deep, complex mezcal that showcases the rare agave and its terroir. Amaras produces in Oaxaca with a focus on sustainability.
