Arette Suave Añejo is a masterful expression of aged tequila: polished, creamy, and layered—rich in caramel, oak spice, and agave sweetness, yet anchored by warming spice, minerality, and balance. A sophisticated sipper that rivals more premium offerings.
🌾 Origins & Aging
-
Produced at Arette’s El Llano distillery (NOM 1109) in Jalisco by the Orendain family—crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave using traditional, artisanal methods
-
The “Suave” line is rested over 18–20 months in American white-oak ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in its rich amber color
👃 Aroma
-
Nose bursts with cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, with layers of black pepper, bright cherry, cucumber, and soft herbaceous and floral tones
👅 Palate & Texture
-
Full-bodied yet smooth, offering a velvety mouthfeel that balances sweet agave, caramel, and vanilla with warming baking spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, and pepper.
-
Additional notes of dark chocolate, dried tropical fruits, almond, and honeyed plum add complexity without overwhelming
🍂 Finish
-
The finish is long, elegant, and dry, ending with subtle oak tannins, lingering black pepper, and nutty bitterness that appears later like a mild surprise—consistent with many reviewer notes .
