1968 Triumph Herald 1200 Restoration Project
A bit of a different story today, focussing on some positives to come out of the last year.
We are always amazed by how resourceful our BDM, Harry Beacall, is. He also has a great interest in classic cars so last year when the pandemic hit, Harry decided to use it as an opportunity to fulfil a life long dream and restore a classic car.
Harry purchased a 1968 Triumph Herald 1200 and gave it a full restoration, inside and out!
When Harry first sat in the car he said 'I sat in it and put my foot straight through the floor there was a lot of welding to be done on it, but thankfully having a welder for I dad, I was taught to weld at about 13!'
After lots of love, attention and hard work the results were fantastic!
What a great lockdown project, well done Harry.
